photography can be thought provoking...
i was browsing through a photographic portfolio online recently. the theme was about homeless people. it made me think many things when viewing it. it made me remember many things, too. i think it is worth the time for thought, not just during holidays, but all year round. some can improve their situation. some cannot; some do not have the means nor wherewithal to do so. when i look into their eyes, i see a part of my self in them. i see that i could easily be in their position one day. its not only frightening, but eye-opening. its a shame to be scammed by someone who does not need the money, but it is important to recognize the ones who do and to not ignore them. i am poor, but i try to help when i can. i have ever since i was a kid. something about it just seemed right. even as an adult, something about it seems right. theyre not forgotten in my heart...
i also realized as i saw this portfolio that i miss photography, particularly black and white photography.
